Ocono Romania S.R.L. (formerly APR Inovaflex S.R.L.) is the regional contact within Ocono (formerly Schauenburg Hose Technology Group) for Romania and the neighbouring regions in South-Eastern Europe. Our role is clear: we combine market proximity with efficient and predictable processing.

Our Locations for Tailor-Made Solutions
Our strength is the result of combining local presence with group-wide capabilities. In Europe, our production capacities and technical expertise are concentrated at three locations in Germany: Ocono Ruhrkunststoff GmbH (formerly SCHAUENBURG Ruhrkunststoff GmbH), Ocono VACUFLEX GmbH (formerly VACUFLEX GmbH) and Ocono APD Schlauchtechnik GmbH (formerly APD Schlauchtechnik GmbH) combine manufacturing and technical know-how. This is complemented by market- and sales-oriented units such as Ocono France SARL (formerly GAP Plastomère SARL) and Ocono Italy S.r.l. (formerly TubiOne S.r.l.), which are also focused on consulting, availability and proximity to customers in their countries and neighbouring regions. Romania fits into this structure as a focused sales and logistics location – for short response times, clear processes and fast supply in the region.
Internationally, Ocono broadens its reach through independently operating sister companies: Flexaust Inc. in America with several locations in the USA and Ocono China with two locations in China. For you, this means a local contact person – and, in the background, a network that provides capacity, experience and specialisation across national borders.

An important part of our quality and innovative work is the central research and development department within Ocono. There, materials, hose structures and application-related requirements are continuously tested, evaluated and further developed. For you, this means that technical questions can be answered reliably, requirements can be classified more quickly and solutions can be selected that remain reliable throughout the entire lifetime of the product.

There, materials, designs and application-specific requirements are continuously developed and technically validated. This is also relevant for Ocono Romania S.R.L.: we can provide well-founded answers to technical questions, classify requirements more quickly and recommend solutions that are not only suitable in the short term, but also resilient in the long term.
Quality is a central focus for us – that is why norms, tests and certifications are an integral part of our activities. Depending on the product, our solutions meet requirements for food contact or flame retardancy, and materials and suppliers are tested according to defined criteria. In addition, the manufacturing companies in Germany are all certified according to ISO 9001:2015, thus ensuring standardised, transparent quality processes.
