The Start in 2027
The beginnings of Ocono Romania S.R.L. (formerly APR Inovaflex S.R.L.) lie not in a long local company history, but in a conscious decision: in 2017, the location in Romania was established directly as part of the former Schauenburg Hose Technology Group – today Ocono. This made it clear from the outset that Ocono Romania S.R.L. would have a clear role to fulfil within the overall picture of the group of companies in Romania: customer proximity in the market, short response times and direct access to the group's technical and manufacturing resources and extensive product portfolio.
In the early years, the focus was on developing a range of products and a stable network: a portfolio that reliably covers typical requirements in Romania – including suitable partners and accessories, so that services beyond the mere selection of the hose itself could be offered as solutions. At the same time, processes for consulting, execution and availability were established to make projects and repetitive requirements more manageable.
European & International Impact
The name Ocono (formerly Schauenburg Hose Technology Group) brings together strong companies and specialized expertise with a central brand identity. As Ocono Romania S.R.L., we are based in Romania – and at the same time part of Ocono with a European and international presence.

The next big step is the unified brand identity: starting in 2026, the group-wide rebranding will make visible what has long been a reality in organisational terms. APR Inovaflex S.R.L. will become Ocono Romania S.R.L. – part of a group that brings together expertise across national borders, offering stability, technical consistency and scalability. This means that customers will have a clear point of contact in the country – and, in the background, a network that ensures specifications and develops solutions.
A major factor in our performance is our central location in Călărași: from here, we manage availability, order picking and delivery for the Romanian market and neighbouring regions. This creates short processing times, clear order processing procedures and a high level of delivery reliability – especially for repetitive requirements and time-critical applications. Within Ocono, Ocono Romania S.R.L. is a logistics hub in Romania and neighbouring areas.
